Pioneer Holiday Food Drive

WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS        -Robert Ingersoll-

The 2015 Hardees Holiday Food Drive will help feed nearly
8,500 kids every weekend of the school year!

In December, our Pioneer Hardee’s Team and 105.7 The Point partnered for the 12th annual Holiday Food Drive benefiting Operation Food Search, the largest distributor of free food in the St. Louis bi-state region helping to feed the area’s poor and hungry – nearly 1/3 of whom are children.

KPNT listeners were encouraged to visit local Hardee’s locations during the month of December and donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items, and boy did the cans roll in!

An addition to the canned food drive, guests had the opportunity to donate $1 at the register with 100% of proceeds benefiting Operation Food Search. In turn, guests received a limited edition holiday NINJA sticker. That in-store NINJA sticker promotion provided Operation Backpack with 6,930 weekend backpacks of food to kids in need. And not only were our guests incredibly generous, but an anonymous donor matched the challenge providing Operation Backpack with a grand total of 13,860 weekend backpacks of food to kids in need!!

Along with hundreds of pounds of canned and non-perishable foods, our Pioneer Hardee’s Team and 105.7 The Point presented a check for $23,078 to Operation Food Search!

A big thank you to the Pioneer Team and all of you in The Lund Brown Group who help lift the lives of others by giving back to your communities.
